Student Life
Student life at Auckland Royal Academy reflects the extraordinary diversity and energy of Auckland itself. As home to the world's largest Polynesian urban community and a thriving population from across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, Auckland is a city where students from every background feel at home from their first day of arrival. Our campus community is deliberately international — built around the belief that learning alongside peers from different cultures, languages, and perspectives is one of the most valuable aspects of a university education.
Life at Auckland Royal Academy extends far beyond the classroom. Students participate in over 40 clubs and societies spanning cultural organisations, academic interest groups, entrepreneurship networks, sports teams, and community service programmes. Our student association organises events throughout the year — from cultural festivals celebrating the traditions of our diverse student body to professional networking evenings and industry visits that build career connections while building community.

“I’ve met some of my best friends through living on campus. It was a really great way to understand the community and integrate myself into it. ”
