Dr. Sarah Ngata
Vice-Chancellor
Dr. Sarah Ngata serves as Vice-Chancellor of Auckland Royal Academy, providing strategic leadership across all academic, research, and administrative functions of the university. She is responsible for the university's mission, vision, and long-term development, and represents Auckland Royal Academy in its relationships with government, industry, and the international higher education community.

Dr. Catherine Waikato
Vice President, Student Affairs
Dr. Catherine Waikato serves as Vice President for Student Affairs at Auckland Royal Academy. She leads the university's comprehensive student support services, overseeing academic advising, international student support, counselling, careers, and wellbeing programmes across all five faculties. Dr. Waikato holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Waikato.
Professor James Tūhoe
Acting Vice President of Administration
Professor James Tūhoe joined Auckland Royal Academy's Faculty of Business in 2011 following a distinguished career in commercial and corporate law at leading New Zealand firms. He holds an LLB (Honours) from Victoria University of Wellington and an LLM from the University of Auckland. Professor Tūhoe serves as Acting Vice President of Administration.
Dr. Michael Parata
Assistant Vice President for Communications
Dr. Michael Parata joined Auckland Royal Academy in 2008 as Head of Student Communications before rising to Assistant Vice President for Communications in 2016. He holds a PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Auckland and leads the university's institutional communications, media relations, and digital engagement functions.
Dr. Robert Henare
Senior Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor
Dr. Robert Henare serves as Senior Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor at Auckland Royal Academy, bringing extensive experience in commercial law, corporate governance, and higher education policy. He advises on the university's legal compliance, regulatory obligations under the Education and Training Act 2020, and governance matters before the Auckland Royal Academy Council.
Professor Anne Māhaki
Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities
Professor Anne Māhaki has served as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities since 2008. She is a graduate of the University of Auckland and Victoria University of Wellington, and her research on Pacific literary traditions has been published in leading international journals. Professor Māhaki represents the faculty on the Academic Board and the university's international partnerships committee.
Professor David Tane
Professor of Law and Constitutional Studies
Professor David Tane is Auckland Royal Academy's Professor of Law and Constitutional Studies, bringing four decades of legal scholarship to the university's governance and academic advisory functions. A recognised authority on New Zealand constitutional law and Treaty of Waitangi jurisprudence, Professor Tane contributes to the university's public engagement and policy advisory work.
