Dr. Mere Tūhoe
Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Business / Acting VP Administration
Dr. Mere Tūhoe is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Business and serves as Acting Vice President of Administration. She holds a doctorate in Commercial Law from the University of Auckland and has published extensively on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business law in New Zealand and the Pacific.

Professor Ian Waititi
Professor of Behavioural Science
Professor Ian Waititi is a Fellow of the New Zealand Psychological Society and holds a doctorate from the University of Auckland. His research focuses on the intersections of behavioural science, education, and organisational performance, and he has published widely in peer-reviewed journals across the Asia-Pacific region.

Dr. Paul Ngatai
Lecturer in Philosophy
Dr. Paul Ngatai joined Auckland Royal Academy after completing his doctorate in Philosophy at Victoria University of Wellington. His research examines indigenous epistemologies and their relationship to contemporary philosophical debates. He teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Dr. John Kerehoma
Lecturer in Journalism
Dr. John Kerehoma is BA Journalism course leader and teaches on both undergraduate and postgraduate journalism programmes. He leads modules in international journalism, research methods, and feature writing. Before joining Auckland Royal Academy, he spent two decades working as a journalist, including ten years with a major New Zealand media organisation.

Dr. Lisa Parata
Associate Professor of Philosophy
Dr. Lisa Parata holds a PhD from the University of Auckland and has been a member of the Auckland Royal Academy faculty since 2009. Her research interests span philosophy of mind, moral psychology, aesthetics, and philosophy of literature. She supervises doctoral students and teaches across the full range of undergraduate and postgraduate philosophy courses.

Dr. Emma Ngapo
Associate Professor of Politics
Dr. Emma Ngapo holds a doctorate from the University of Auckland and specialises in social and political philosophy and ethics. Her research engages with questions of political legitimacy, educational justice, and gender equity. Dr. Ngapo is a regular contributor to public debates on social policy in New Zealand and teaches in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Dr. Wiremu Tane
Lecturer in Philosophy
Dr. Wiremu Tane holds a doctorate in Philosophy from Massey University and specialises in indigenous Māori philosophy, environmental ethics, and the philosophy of language. His research has contributed to national conversations about the place of mātauranga Māori in academic discourse. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate philosophy at Auckland Royal Academy.

Dr. Tom Heke
Lecturer in History
Dr. Tom Heke is an intellectual historian specialising in twentieth-century thought and the history of ideas. He holds degrees from the University of Auckland and Victoria University of Wellington, and joined Auckland Royal Academy following a decade of teaching and research in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He holds a joint appointment with the Centre for Pacific Studies.

Dr. Sara Reweti
Lecturer in Philosophy
Dr. Sara Reweti is a Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at Auckland Royal Academy. Her research interests include decision theory, social choice theory, epistemology, ethics, and the philosophy of religion. Her published work examines how individuals ought to take risk into account when making decisions under uncertainty.
