Six core services available to all enrolled students — free of charge throughout your studies and into your first year of employment.

CV & Cover Letter Review

Professional review and tailoring of your CV and cover letters for the NZ job market. We understand how Gulf, Asian, and European CV formats differ from NZ expectations and help you bridge that gap effectively.

Mock Interviews

Simulated job interviews with personalised feedback on your responses, body language, and communication style. Practice competency-based, technical, and case-study interview formats used by NZ employers.

Internship Placement

Access to ARA's network of Auckland and NZ employers who offer paid and unpaid internships to ARA students. 63% of ARA graduates completed two or more internships during their studies, providing real-world experience before graduation.

Employer Networking Events

Regular career fairs, industry panels, and networking evenings held on campus and online. These events connect students directly with hiring managers from Auckland's top employers across all key sectors.

Post-Study Visa Guidance

Post-Study Work Visa (PSWV)
Level 7+ graduates may apply for a 1–3 year open work visa, allowing employment with any NZ employer. Duration depends on your qualification level and location of study.
Skilled Migrant Category
NZ qualifications and skilled employment contribute points toward the Skilled Migrant Category residence application. ARA Career Centre provides guidance on this pathway.
Employer-Sponsored Residence
Graduates who secure skilled employment may be sponsored by their employer for NZ residence through the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) pathway.
